One extra click is all it takes this holiday season to support your favorite charity (and if that’s Insideschools.org, so much the better!).

Here’s how easy it is: go to ShopForCharityNow.com first and then click through to your choice of more than fifty online stores. This particular website is mine—I started it with my husband back in 2007 and we’ve managed to donate over a thousand dollars.

If you’d prefer to support a cause outside of New York City public schools, we offer many autism-related charities including Autism Speaks, the Gillen Brewer school, Project Happy, YAI, and more.

If you’d like to support a charity that we don’t list, please check out GoodShop.com or IGive.com—these kinds of philanthropic websites won’t cost you any extra money, and especially now, during the holidays, are a great way to trigger automatic donations with purchases you were already going to make.

I’m getting off my soapbox now.

Feel free to share your favorite ways to give during the holidays in comments below.
